Maurice is a talking espresso bean who lives on Facebook (and a microsite leveraging the same OddCast piece) and extols the virtues of living and loving life, and lattes. He was created to help sell Lattes during an otherwise “ordinary” advertising window; they did not buy the idea at that time, but he was resurrected in a later meeting by a client exec who had the idea stuck in his head.
The application we created as the introductory vehicle for Maurice leverages the voice talent of George Lowe (Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast, Sealab) and the technologies of OddCast to allow personalized messages to be sent from one user to another, in the voice of Maurice the Bean.
