In 2014, Assembly Media was just getting started, billing itself as a "modern media agency, with technology at its core." It was born from a convergence of media agencies owned by MDC Partners (i.e. Donor, MDC Media Partners, CP+B, The Media Kitchen, et al.), bringing the full power of their network to bear against rivals such as Starcom and Carat.
Working with their executive directors, I helped to craft their brand identity, including their logo, the ORAND or "/+", the word-mark, design rules, and their initial launch website.
Update 08/15/25
Assembly has gone on to win Agency of the Year from AdWeek and similar organizations many, many times. It is now owned by Stagwell, but my brand identity remains more-or-less intact—long live the ORAND!.
