Completely waterproof and the size of a USB stick, WOO tracks anything an action sport athlete can dole out. Jumps, spins, flips, distance, speed, and acceleration are all recorded. WOO syncs wirelessly to sport-specific iPhone or Android apps offering meaningful feedback on each and every session. My involvement with WOO began at TechStars, where I mentored their founders and team on branding and marketing strategy and continues today in a consultative capacity, with an expanded focus including their mobile application(s) (UX and design) and marketing efforts to support their launch (August/September of 2014), including partnerships with major kiteboarding and action sports brands and the usual blocking and tackling associated with any consumer tech product launch campaign.

As an aside: I did not design the hardware for this product (shown in the hero shot above). The beautiful trapezoid device was designed in partnership with Sprout Studios, a great product design shop based here in Boston.
