miCoach 5.x | 2012

In 2007, we partnered with adidas to bring a professional training program used by many professional athletes directly to consumers. Our wearable computer builds individual goal-based fitness plans and coaches users in real time to make sure they stick with their programs. Its technology wirelessly tracks metrics like speed, distance, and heart rate, and balances the results so users can collect and track their performance data. And it does all this in 40 languages, in over 40 global regions.

During my tenure at Isobar, we designed and launched version 5.0+ of the miCoach consumer product, which included a massive revamp of the data visualization, customization options for workouts (including custom routes and routines), the addition of new sports (basketball et al.), leagues, head-to-head competition between users, and OpenGraph integration.

In its lifetime, miCoach has won multiple awards, most recently including two WebAwards, two W3 Awards and a Stevie Award.
